Art has always been a very important part of my life.  I started drawing as soon as I was able to hold a pencil.

I graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts where my major concentration was illustration.

I teach classes in drawing, pastel, colored pencil and creative thinking at the Globe Visual Arts Center located at 201 N. Sycamore Street in Petersburg, Virginia.

I am also an exhibiting artist and maintain a studio at the Petersburg Regional Art Center in Petersburg.
